I'm ~30 minutes north of you, ~5 minutes from Six Flags.

Every 6 months there's the MidWestLan up in Wisconsin (http://midwestlan.com/). Its a pretty small event, usually below 100 attendees. I've been to two of them, but that was before I played comp TF2. Aside from that there's the IU LanWar events, but thats like 4-5 hours further away than MidWestLan.
