It's back!

----

i don't know why but i broke it. so....heres a temporary fix.

----

#tf2.pug is back! #tf2.pug was the predecessor to #tf2.pug.na and is run by the same great admin group plus your favorite CommFT Mentor Program Admin (me! haha). It was eventually replaced by TF2Lobby, but the skill level of lobbies has deteriorated and players had demanded that #tf2.pug be brought back.

Well it's finally here! Thanks to Pingu and the other great #tf2.pug.na admins, this lower level North American pug channel has been brought back to life.

#tf2.pug is a great place to pug at a level that is higher than TF2Lobby but lower than #tf2.pug.na.

Why is it better?

You no longer need a captain to start the game, and teams are automatically assigned. Best of all, this system is free to use!

How does it work?

Mumble is required! Start by joining the mumble channel:
chi6.eoreality.net:64746 password: tf2pug

Join the channel #tf2.pug on Gamesurge.

Each player adds up as a single class (if that class is full then you pick a different class), and once all the class spaces are full, the game will automatically start. At that point you will be private messaged on IRC with the server connect information.

Commands:

!add class (scout, soldier, demo, medic) - adds you to the next pug as that class
!players - lists the players that are playing and their respective classes
!last - shows when the last pug was started / played
!ip - displays the server connect information for the upcoming pug
!mumble - displays the mumble information

I really hope people don't treat this like lobbies, last game the other team had a targe demo, a huntsman, and a pyro.

-_-

Bitches don't know about the !restrict command. Allows teammates to vote and force a given player to stay on-class. That is, assuming it works properly, I've heard it's broken on at least one server.

EDIT: Also, if you know which server it's broken on, tell me and I can fix it now that I have a computer that can boot TF2 (which wasn't true for the last month).
