Hey guys, i just took a shot at making a frag video with as much quality as i know how. (I've never edited video before).

I can tell it's your first, I'd suggest using one of the tf2 recording tools. They'll launch your tf2.exe in high quality and remove the hud etc, it's really useful for editing.
Good scout frags otherwise! Curious though, what hud are you using?

Frags were nice, quality wasn't bad but that editing...

Thanks for the links, I'll take some time to learn about those tools before I make my next video.

And when I said "that editing", I was referring to a few things that were probably fun from an editor's standpoint, but not exactly nice to watch - the text before everything is a bit unnecessary, I'd rather just watch it to see what happens. Some of the transitions were neat, but it'd be nice if you stuck to one or two instead of hitting the random button each time. And finally, that tunnel effect when picking the med by spire was rather...
Well, let's just say it was a very good collection for a first video, but try not to make it so... "youtube-y" next time :P

Here's a recording guide that dellort wrote like six months ago. It's very in-depth and probably looks quite daunting at first, but it's actually really simple once you make a few short clips.

also ,you should try recording the frags with a recording tool like they said
and next time try to avoid the text in the middle of the frags

Thanks for taking the time to type all that out for me! I'll take all this into consideration next time I make a video. I kind of just whipped this one up in a night, without knowing what I was doing. I'm definitely willing to improve, and I'll make sure my next video is better for the viewer :D
