Is it possible to require all steam accounts to be prem accounts to post on this forum? It sounds drastic but I really don't see (I think?) a lot of F2P players here, if not, it's nbd; they can just buy something from the mann co. store for $1.

Making it so only premium steam accounts can post probably isn't hard, either.

That means you'll have to pay for a game on your alt steam account just for it to get steam-id banned from the administrators. :p

(i'm assuming the steam API can do that - kind of the same way you can't add friends until you buy at least one game)

Valve recently fixed the "bug" that allowed you to do payments less than $5 to the Mann Co Store. So now you're forced to pay at least $5.

How do you check if a steam account is premium is what im wondering.

If the alt is worth $5 to you and you don't do anything to get banned on it, nothing's stopping you.

Some alts are good, but the vast majority are terrible. Maybe $5 will weed out the awful ones.
