I agree with the OP. Just make it a part of the registration process.

Even turts on his TF2 Recruiter was able to add it easily. Unless there's a difference big problem on the steam account being the account for a site or the steam account is just an attachment to a forum account.

once alt accounts aren't allowed anymore, how will we stop people from making alt steam accounts?

The idea is that it takes extra time and effort to create a new steam account just to post something stupid, and that hopefully those extra steps would act as a deterrent.

This looks like a debate to me.

making alts to +frag/-frag was a cornerstone of gotfrag
and besides, +/-frags dont mean shit, posts do.

See, I have a problem with this logic. In my experience talking to people to new natf2 or people who just lurk, most of them actually take +/- frags into account, even at a subconscious level. I've heard people hate on Neorussia when they've never talked to him in their lives because they saw him post something that got a bunch of -frags.

I agree, +/- frags don't mean shit, but that's because you and I are used to it. There are people who actually do think they mean shit because they aren't used to alts.
