I can't remember where I came across this thread but yeah, this script will show keys during your demo recordings or something

http://forums.tf2jump.com/index.php?topic=596.0

I haven't tried it. If they come up while you're playing it sounds kind of annoying. Maybe if they weren't positioned around the crosshair.

SOMEONE POST A FUCKING DEMO OF CTAPPING

I did 2 seperate demos and they turned out like this.

90 dem_consolecmd [+duck 83]
93 dem_consolecmd [+attack 107]
95 dem_consolecmd [+jump 65]
98 dem_consolecmd [-duck 83]
99 dem_consolecmd [-attack 107]

And

82 dem_consolecmd [+duck 83]
86 dem_consolecmd [+attack 107]
87 dem_consolecmd [+jump 65]
88 dem_consolecmd [-duck 83]
92 dem_consolecmd [-attack 107]

Sorry to necro my own thread, but I'm confused by this. The -duck is coming after the +attack ... is that intentional or just latency in the
key lift-off registration?

no, if you notice in tf2 you cannot croouch after you jump so you have to jump after you crouch xD

that is a lie. you may press the button but you aren't doing anything, and to clarify i did not say you cant crouch in the air, just after you use the +jump command you cannot use hte +crouch command until you land.

Indeed. Thanks for the info. I have another use for this if I'm not feeling lazy/have time.

You can +duck twice in air. There's a server variable for it.

I don't understand why people are saying this would help catch hackers. Wouldn't it be safe to assume that the key they use to toggle doesn't do anything in TF2 and is thus not recorded? I mean it seems to only record key presses that are binded (ie +attack to M1's number, F12 to r_drawviewmodels 0, etc). Or does it really record every single key pressed, regardless of whether or not it was a bind?
