my open team qualifies for a move-up if I have 1 other player from it, which would be xlax- if I can't get him I'll use some other player from my old roster for at least as many matches as I need to

I played in almost every single match this season, and in every playoff match, meaning I was a part of the roster that earned the IM spot. I was told by admins that if I rejoin the roster I count as one of the two players needed to go IM. Maybe other people deserve the roster more, but no one else is trying to take it into IM, so they don't even need it. Logic.
