To be honest, he didn't rage and he's pretty active in the TF2 reddit community, though that might be where he developed him ego from.

GL nonetheless.

well now that all the shit talking has passed, if you'd like any help you can add me, don't set your level that high, you're open and stick with that.

pro tip btw, highlander doesnt give any help with 6's whatsoever

It's kind of a shame that highlander doesnt help with 6v6- it really should because the game modes share a lot of the same mechanics, but the skill pool is simply too small in HL for a lot to be learned that could help in 6v6

I'm not sure if those stats are entirely representative of your class playtime, since you mentioned a reset somewhere along the way ... but they don't look promising in terms of game sense and understanding of the behaviour of opposition.

Even MGE Mike's stats are not so disproportionate.

Good luck with your team search nonetheless.

play scout -> good at soldier because don't have to aim
play soldier -> good at scout because know how to predict

You should probably just completely change your name, because there's only like 3-4 extv people that are bearable to be around, and moose=dabes, not you. And don't be cocky, unless you actually are good, or are really good at feeding people bullshit

you should definitely follow a course on how to make good introductory posts, cause that was really awful

like so awful your chances on getting on a team are below 0%

"- I'm not really interested in low Open. I beat the pocket of the last team I tried out for 20-0 in MGE when I was about 12 shots drunk (ESEA-O). I've got an offer to sit in as a backup on an IM team, but I'd rather start on an established Open team than not play. "

the post seemed perfectly normal and i was confused about the minus frags, BUT THEN I READ THAT AND I WAS LIKE OHHHHHH NOW I GET WHY THIS GUY IS FUCKED WHY WOULD YOU TYPE THAT MAN HAHAHAHA

Guys give the dude some slack, he is new to this and just made newbie mistake. This attitude right now is what makes newbies not want to get into Competitive.

Moose, you made some mistakes with your looking post
You can't expect to come out of nowhere with little 6v6 experience and get on a IM or high open team. As you can see, people take offense to that. You need to get known, get experience and do well in leagues to move up. I am not saying you are bad or anything, but you just need to play 6's to get farther in 6's.

Realistically your chances of getting in a IM team is 0%
Try to focus playing and doing well in Open first, if you do well you will get recognized and you may get into IM next season. I hope you find a good team to join and have a good season.

Guys on NATF2, remember. This dude is new to this. Don't instantly start -fragging and talking about him like he knows what he did. Explain what he did wrong, why he shouldn't do it and hope he doesn't do it again. If he keeps on doing it then there is a problem, but don't jump on him on the first mistake :/

Good luck on your search Moose

Essentially any experience you have in TF2 that's not 6v6 format becomes irrelevant when joining 6v6. MGE mod is a great learning tool, but it's not something to put on a brag sheet.

With zero 6v6 experience, you're at the bottom of a loooong staircase.

Oh my god I watched you rip someone up in ammomod MGE like two hours ago. It was horrifying.

Seriously though, whats your hit pct? Like 95%? 96?

----------------

@Moose: We've had some decent convos on reddit, but how in touch are you with the 6s game nowadays? Also, no offense, but it's not like you (or I according to most UGC people, even though we just spanked ts in a scrim) are at the top level of HL so why even bring it up? I'd be down to talk to you about ESEA if you wanted but there's like 1 day to sign up and this post kind of killed it for you. You should look through your connections for teams instead of posting here about MGE...

Also, didn't you say you played Div 2 before? That might be relevant if true.

i actually feel bad that you got ripped on so badly moose...#17 has it though.

good luck on the team search. from the looks of it though i would suggest that you take that offer to backup for that IM team. the registration for ESEA is basically over so if you haven't already found an open team yet then you're going to be stuck with nothing.

start by doing a lot of pugs and getting people familiar with who you are. also, if you are as good as you say you are you should try pugging in #tf2.pug.na rather than tf2lobby. that should get you some more 6v6 experience under your belt and a better perspective on where you stand.

oh and also did you know you're not even listed under extv staff? http://www.extelevision.com/extv-staff/
i just thought that might be worth mentioning but it's probably just a mistake.

hey guys my team picked up moose, i dont know what you were talking about. He is a very nice guy in mummble and very respectful. he has decent roamer skill (we are a low open team so he is perfect for our team skill wise) and he doesnt rage much. I know im new as well to the tf2 6's scene but c'mon this wasnt needed you ddint need to bash the guy because he came off wrong. that is the attitude that will make no one new want to join us. #41 was right on the ball, so guys this B.S. does not need to continue he found a team and were happy to have him so the thread is now basically void
