The way I've always done things with my friends is like this:

I buy some weed, I share it with anybody I consider a friend without asking for money or anything in return. Sure enough, next time they buy weed they will share it with me without asking for anything in return.

I have no idea if I break even, but I know it makes people really happy to get smoked out so I continue to do this. I've always considered weed to be one of those things you should be generous with. I never want to prevent a friend from being included just because they don't have 5 bucks. I get high either way, and one more head isn't going to break the bank.

The only exception to this rule is if some randos come up to me in parties and want to smoke my weed, I'll charge them 5 bucks to get on a blunt or something because I know I'll never see them again.

How about you guys? What are your opinions on weed sharing?

I personally wouldn't get high with strangers in the house, even if they are friends with your friends. Since you know they will never see you again they obviously know the same. "Bro I got so high last night that all my shit dissapeared!"

Something like that happened to my sister and her boyfriend and I still laugh and give them crap about it.

Only in the setting of a party with random people I've never met before. If they seem chill or my friends know them I'll let them smoke for free, but some random ass dude who's mooching doesn't get a freebie.

I agree with that. If I'm smoking with someone new, I will almost always offer to give some money just as a courtesy. Or throw in some of my own bud.

This has actually been somewhat of an issue in my house lately (since both my roommates smoke as well) mainly because I've been the only one with money lately therefore the only one with weed. Now I dont mind smoking one person up pretty much at any time. 2 people can be a bit much especially because I can only get dank at school which is expensive. I'll only smoke up >2 people if theyre my boys and not some randos. If we're smokin a blunt at a party I dont mind giving a random person a hit but if its a bong or a bowl where the weed burns quicker I tend not to be as generous.

Basically its good to smoke up your close friends because for me smoking is primarily a social thing but people shouldnt feel entitled to weed if they see you smoking at a party.

Well 5 dollars would be for the stranger you don't really want to smoke with. If they REALLY want to smoke, they'll pay the 5 bucks and they can smoke with me the rest of the night.

Also, at parties there's usually somewhat of a designated area for smoking (outside, upstairs, random room), so people generally know where to go to ask for it.

A nick isn't much and one person can easily smoke that himself.. Obviously price goes up on the type but some regular mid goes for those prices. Price may be different in different places, idk

I've never heard of a 25 bag, and no dealer I know sells 5 dollar bags. When you say quarter, I think quarter ounce

50-60 eight
90-120 quarter
160-180 half
330-360 zip

Of course, depending on who you know or what kind of deals they do the prices vary.

in my area its 1 gram -> 10 dollars and pretty much like that equally unless you're buying Quarters/halves/pounds where its lowered depending on who you buy from.

And I wish everyone followed this, theres this one guy we burn with who literally will take your green and smoke it all but he'll always have some excuse why he can't repay/send you some green other days (ex. man I literally only have like 2 bowls and I haven't burned all day, while he's sitting with a freshly ground 2 grams).

I used to be very generous with my weed but the more and more i smoked, the more I became stingy. I hate smoking with other people other than my girlfriend and I hate smoking anywhere other than my balcony out of my bong. I don't know why it is but I suppose I developed a social anxiety at a certain point.

When I used to smoke with others, I wouldn't charge cuz people never charged for me.

And girls always smoke free. I suppose it's a bay thang

Yeah, I figured it would be different in other places. There arent many real dealers around where I'm at, just a bunch of rednecks that smoke most of their weed and sell a little bit at a time to their friends

a dime bag will always be $10. hence dime - 10. if you ever ask for a dime bag and have to pay more than $10, something is wrong.

im usually very generous with my stash since i have a constant and almost free supply. only time ill start to ask people to throw in or pay is when my set limit of the night is over or being reached (if that makes any sense).

I don't smoke, nor do I plan to, but I can sort of understand charging strangers at a party 5 bucks for a single blunt. It's a want, not a need (unless it's used for medicinal purposes). If they want it, they should buy their own instead of mooching off others.
