I'm the UGC 6s admin and from last seasons champ team (we ducked out this season because ESEA prep was taking too much time). You could prolly get in touch with some of the top teams - Yancy and Swiper would be good ones to go to. If you want any other information feel free to add me on steam lol.

Yeah good choice swiper :p

In an ideal world this is what I'd like to see:

UGC 6s is sort of the AAA baseball to ESEA. Respectable, but due to prizes (pay) and level of play it's a rung down from ESEA's upper echelons and the top bunch of open.

UGC is ideal for:

A. Teams learning the format, who don't want to pay league fees for ESEA only to finish at the bottom half of open or have their team die.

B. Teams that are just forming (there's always the weeding process that goes on with teams made up of brand new players).

C. Teams of established players looking to off class (Mr. 24/7 solly plays scout to better learn the class) or try weird strats. in a match environment.

D. ESEA teams that want something to keep them organized during the off season (that's what my group primarily used it for - because during an off season it's so easy to say "meh it's off season we'll scrim tomorrow" for several days or even a week in a row.
