I will be playing TF2 and then my mouse will stop working. The mouse is still on and should be working properly, so I'm pretty sure it's a TF2 problem, especially since my game gets choppy at the same time. My mouse will start working again in about 5-8 seconds and then the game won't be choppy anymore. I think this is somewhat related to my problem where the game freezes up for a few seconds and then I will have to record and stop a demo because a player on the opposing team will go invisible. If anybody has any idea about what causes these problems/how to fix them, then PLEASE let me know!
my mouse is a logitech g400 if that helps any
thanks

Common cable issue with the MX518 / G400. Send it back or shorten the cable yourself. stvkeybinds: an application with pictures |

Yeah, it's your cord. I use a g500 and the cord is pretty bad. When it disconnects while i play, it will make the game choppy and I'll hear the sound your computer makes when you plug in / unplug a usb. It will take about 3-10 seconds for it to reconnect, and that lags my game too. 99% sure it is your cord. |

If you want to replace the cord while waiting for a replacement from logitech, buy a logitech m100 ($5) and swap the cords. http://www.overclock.net/t/1138037/fixing-the-mx518-cable-problem The only difference between the g400 and mx518 on the inside is that the mouse button hub on the g400 can't be removed so you'll have to gently slide the cable underneath, but it can be done. |

I've been getting glitches where people/objects in game turn invisible when I alt tab my game in fullscreen. Particles of explosions get glitched too. |
