jesus christ, this thread reminds me of a discussion of when hurt locker won movie of the year. Everyone was complaining that it didn't deserve the award because the camera was too shaky all the time

watch more movies before you make judgements, sometimes you think something is bad because you don't understand it

It's actually like inception almost as there's 3 realities that the movies takes place in: the real life institute, the imagined strip club, and the deeper action packed fantasy reality. the action packed fantasy world. 1 of the girls just puts herself into a fake reality just so she could get away from the mental institute and abuse. What happens in the imagined reality is similiar to what happens in the real institute.

Most people don't even try to think long enough to actually realize this or didn't even take 2 minutes to look up an explanation for the movie.

I thought hurt locker was boring as fuck, and I like some fucking boring movies. No character, no plot, no story, no suspense, no humour, no horror, no dialogue, and not even stunning cinematography ( I don't mind shaky cam). Granted it didn't fuck up, so I guess that's an oscar... Biggest realization in the film: "Bro's an idiot." THE END.

There was one that I picked out of blockbuster like 5 years ago to see how bad it could be called something like super delta recon force 2522. It had every fantasy/sci-fi creature you could think of and was the worst movie in existence. Apparently they made a sequel.

i've seen a shitload of movies, and picking the worst one is probably harder than picking the best one. even the worst movies (i.e The Room) can be enjoyable just by the sheer amount they suck. however, without a doubt, the worst movie i've ever seen is this.

oh no, i got it. the movie wasnt confusing at all, its just the reason the movie was made was because someone was like:

"hey lets take a bunch of girls, dress them up in lingerie and/or a school girl outfit and and put them in pointless action sequences! that'll sell tickets!"

which was followed by someone most likely saying

"great idea, we can make them fight a dragon, and steam punk nazis even tho its world war 1 and they are actually just germans because the nazis didnt even exist until the 1930s! how do they end up fighting all these things though?"

"dont worry we will figure something out. we will also figure out a way to put as much annoying angsty music into the movie because thatll sell tickets."

at least none of them were fucking vampires.

One scene that stuck with me in that movie...well really the only scene that stuck with me, was when they captured one of the aliens and performed a live vivisection on it to find its weak point.

Also, platinum, some people just go in to the movie theater not knowing what they're going to see, or they disregard what others say about it because most critics are full of shit. I don't think the "you knew what you were getting into" excuse has any merit. Sucker Punch is fucking awful by many standards. Yes, if you wanted exactly what Sucker Punch gave of course you'd like it (and power to you, nothing wrong with that, it is what it is), but it fails to provide any sort of satisfaction in terms of drama, suspense or story, which is what a lot of people expect AT MINIMUM from a film.

lol, no. it was free on demand, i was REALLY bored the other night so i figured id check it out. I figured it was going to be bad, and i almost turned it off a few times, but after a while it was just SO BAD that I had to finish watching it.
