You can get a free hat by playing to level 6. It's a free to play game in the steam store. Used to play it a loooong time ago when it first came out, it's like a shittier version of All Points Bulletin.

I found the game not that bad. I actually enjoyed myself getting to level 6 (roughly 1 hour of gameplay)

So I just played it for about an hour until i got to level 6. It was a really shitty game, but fun to top frag since nobody knows how to aim. Sniper is OP as fuck, but there are a lot of fun gamemodes.

Shitty UI, shitty controls, but I could see the 5cp maps in a squad of friends being really fun.

You can only get banned if you do it in-game.

I've never heard of somebody getting vac'd for using achievement unlocker, I've been using it for years. Would hardly call it a hack.

It's not really a hack though. It just unlocks the achievements.

It's not a hack really and no one has ever got banned from it (even in-game). It just unlocks achievements.

The only time anyone has ever gotten in trouble from it was from the last X-Mas sale, people used it to unlock achievements from a game that was not available in their region and used it to get tons of coal etc really fast on a ton of accounts. Steam took away these peoples coals + gifts + disabled their accounts from taking place in future Steam events but thats it.

under the definition of cheat, i'd say it is "Act dishonestly or unfairly in order to gain an advantage, esp. in a game or examination"

getting the steam hat or the coal like you said quicker than someone who actually has to do the achievements sounds pretty advantageous and unfair to me

i didn't mind this game when i played it for the steam present thing back in december, definitely not good but not the worst game in the world

that would be true if it was a race to who got the item first, but its not so it doesn't matter, hundreds of people use steam unlocker and it isn't a "hack"

I'm majoring in Network Security and Game Development currently. It's a hack. Just because it's not directly hacking a game or cheating gameplay doesn't mean it's not a hack. It's hacking steam to unlock achievements that are intended to be locked.

If hundreds of people use it, hundreds of people are hacking steam to cheat the achievement system.

Honestly just the fact that their FAQ section included something about VAC bans was enough to scare me off, thanks for the suggestion but it's not for me.

ALSO, it really didn't take long to get to level 6. Everyone who was playing was a scrub, it's like pubstomping from the getgo.

the main point is that it's a hack whether its getting a hat using a program NOT distributed by valve which use is to get things with little to no effort completely breaking valves original intentions of having to unlock them or seeing people through walls so stop trying to be a smart ass.

it's a hack no matter what way you look at it, you can use it if you want I have no problem with it. What I'm annoyed about is the fact that he posted it on a forum dedicated to competitive tf2, it's completely irrelevant and I just don't want outsiders to think we're "hackers"
