remember when being a troll was considered prestigious? that went away. what didn't go away was people trying to convince themselves and others that they aren't actually getting trolled by continuing to display the fact that they are getting trolled.

more about about trolls. they are SUPPOSED to act "autistic" or whatever medical term you want to throw around. they are fuckin' trolls. its what they do. the problem we have is that, for some odd reason, we are afraid of admitting that we are targeted by trolls because we think being trolled makes us look bad so we react with unnecessary stuff. the way we react to trolls is intimidating for anyone who is new to this community. there are more lurkers in this forum than most of you think. most of them are probably just afraid of getting chewed up by us for asking a "stupid question" or making a "bad thread".

here's a few solutions: create a report button. don't respond to awful threads. don't provoke awful posters to respond. i don't get why people complain so much about bad posters when they keep responding to them.
