With high enough DPS you could, otherwise they'd frenzy. I don't know how good wizard is now though, heard after the nerf they're pretty shit. DH can spam SS preparation most of the time and die a few times.

Reflect damage + illusionist is hilarious though, 10 ele arrows will kill you so you have to SS in order to attack.

I can't wait to get the massive discipline regen from this set.

Probably the shittiest stats on a set item, but it's still better than what I had. Might be worth it if I can get two more after a few months.

Solo the last boss in 4 min after 2 week the game been released, And im sure people did this after a week or even less,

I farm in ponyland inferno now, since im a wizard, the area is pretty easy overall for me, but yes they hit very hard

But last night I found a legendary with sxy stats so maybe i can sell it for enough to buy gear to get into act2!

It almost sounds like people are surprised that the game is centralized around gear. You farm until you have good gear, you win. The main difference between this game and D2 is the way that farming is done, bosses don't drop the best loot. I did like 8 diablo runs and got no rares and all shit items - then I find a good rare from a fucking impaled angel.

Well it still is, but it's just not a necessity for the ranged classes. How hard the game is depends on your DPS for them. The less DPS you have, the longer you have to kite mobs and hope to fuck the elites don't have extremely gay combinations. Whats that? You can vortex me and wall me off? THAT'S FANTASTIC!

I meant it as in order to progress through inferno, you can do it with shit gear as a dh/wizard/wd, but you actually have to get really good gear as barb/monk to kill even act II trash

I guess not so much now since duration got nerfed but you could pretty much invis through most of the quests and then deal with the bosses with like 20k damage(unbuffed) it seemed. Sans a few fights, everything seemed pretty doable if you play really good, since their aren't many enrage timers.

Different definitions of hard. Its like an easy raid boss in WoW with an enrage mechanic, sure you wipe on it a bunch of times because you can't kill it before it enrages, but its not because the boss is hard, its because its a gear check. The moment you have gear that makes enrage timers not an issue the boss becomes braindead easy. Same thing with act IV. if you can't do it even with the best gear, its not that its too hard (definition of hard being mechanics.. like you can't play better to kill it no matter what) its just not a possible area. So the issue with that would be balance. Something being "hard" for me would be something that is attainable if you play really good. Which is a lot of fights as a wizard. IF I kite really good then I get the win, which can sometimes be difficult. If you do "__________" really good, you probably will still lose. not because the boss is hard but because your class is trash, if you had the gear to make the boss possible (if the gear is even in the game yet) then msot of the bosses and areas would go from impossible to braindead easy

This is why I wish I woulda rolled DH instead of Barb. Dropping 10m on barb gear doesn't even get you through a2 inferno. Dropping 5m on DH makes a3/a4 farmable. Kinda blows.

I rolled a monk out the gate (big mistake) had a lot of fun playing it in the open beta. if i had any idea that i would need reaaaaaaly good gear to get through i would of started with a wizard at least. i took a break from my monk (lvl 56) started a dh almost lvl 37 figured i can just level that mainly and hopefully i'll find better gear for my monk later on

Well yeah I mean, you could blow 12m on a 1.4k dps xbow, but you could spend 5m and get a 1000dps w/ stats. It's all about how you spend your money IMO.

You're completely right about people not realizing what the GOOD stats were in the beginning. I got a straight tank bracer a week after the game came out that's better then anything I've ever found and I bought it for 500k.
