Not sure if someone mentioned this already, but I was watching the extv ultiduo promo vid and in the comments a lot of people were upset that they had no idea this tournament was even going on. I know most of them probably don't frequent this site, but if someone directs them to this site for info on the tournament it would be a lot easier to find the tournament/lan you're looking for rather than searching through a bunch of topics on game discussion.

If people don't know about these events it's their own fault. eXtine covered the Ultiduo tourny in eXtravision, and the promo was uploaded the day of the event. He mentions the site every episode. Plenty enough information is covered by eXtv, CommFT, VanillaTV, ect. If people want to participate in such events they need to keep up to date and keep themselves informed.

It's still not bad to have a seperate forum section for them here either.

Yeah im with Short on this one. Extine had talked about it/posted about it almost every chance he got.

Natf2 needs to have a way to autoconnect to Dm and MGE servers, league news and tournaments section, team fortress.tv link or something, extv section, and stuff like that. As of now if I were a pubber looking to get into competitive and I was directed to this forum I wouldnt understand what its for besides lft and talking about random things in the game. It really doesnt hold much information or announcements pertaining to events or servers in comp tf2 just people talking about it.

While I agree with #2 to a certain degree, Blaze's point is still VERY relevant. We as a community need to improve the dispersion of news regarding upcoming events. A calendar of upcoming stuff here would be great.

We're working on increasing our websites capabilities in such regards.

tftv has a really really nice community news bar on the left if anyones seen it, doesn't cover natf2 posts, but if natf2 had a calendar you could add stuff to or articles or whatever, then that should be reason enough to include it in the site.

then again, its basically techno and a few others working the code by themselves, so unless more people are willing to help then this stuff isn't going to get done for a while :p
