my probably irrelevant stance is, if LG doesn't go, and euro wins vs whoever, everyone is going to think "we should've sent LG" and we'll just be left with a sense of unfulfillment and unanswered questions. I know that teams agreed to this before LAN, but I don't think it's unreasonable to revisit that discussion since the circumstances for most teams is obviously different than it was then.

I really don't see why LG wouldn't already be locked in for a spot. Don't get me wrong I want to play at i46 as well, but if we're sending the best teams over to represent NA under pressure in a lan setting and a team you KNOW that is going to put in the preparation for the event, I'd place my money on LG. It would suck to see LG knocked out of the tournament if someone on the team is having an off day (I believe its single elimination?) and they lose because of a fluke.

What if the majority of captains vote to postpone the qualifier one week so that LG can play with full roster?

LG should go to i46 as they proved they are more than fit to attend it. And also unlocks don't really mean that much, I play in EU and it doesn't really take that much to adapt. The only thing you need to adapt the most is the 30 min map, that thing really screws with you. I mean euros will play as gay as possible to win so be ready for that.

I honestly think it's foolish not to have LG go. They are the most experienced LAN team as a whole, and quite frankly have the most stable and cohesive roster. You don't need to be the #1 seed to be the best, its about how well you perform in the playoffs and most importantly in this scenario....under pressure of the LAN. LG has consistently proven that for what now..4/5 seasons in a row? Now we're talking about sending people overseas with waaaay more pressure - after what we just saw, LG came out heads above everyone else, dominating in probably the most competitive season to date.

Super teams, though fun to watch, almost never work out as planned. Flow was the closest a super team came to being successful, but i'm not sure what happened to them at LAN. You can put 6 names down on paper that may blow your mind and think...wow these guys will go undefeated!! However, doing that with such short notice and without time to gel as unit will most likely end up with a bad outcome.

While i'd ultimately love to see all 4 teams go to i46, the reality of the cost has given that a kick swift to the nutsack. I believe all 4 teams have a chance at performing really well, but my money is on LG for an actual victory.

It seemed to me that LG had a lot more community support in the stream chat. Maybe that was a result of them winning, but if they really are the community's favourite team wouldn't that boost the donations as well?

I don't know how much we can rely on donations, really. I mean we got like $200 from the what 100k unique viewers during the lan?

The obvious benefit of sending LG to i46 is that you wouldn't have to book as many flights, seeing as b4nny can simply walk over the Atlantic to Britain.
