verizon doesn't have coverage in a lot of area though, would definitely use fios if I had it

if you don't have fios, you're not going to really get any better ISP in cali (just going to be which cable company is ok in the area).

Yeah i have att and it suddenly went to shit. I guess i can try time warner. Also unfortunately fios isn't available where i am...

ATT uverse is fiber so it's pretty good/decent and has reliable speeds but doesn't offer as good speed for the price as comcast.
