While we're on the subject of cheaters that may be on teams (I don't follow UGC he just has a tag) kepler is also a cheater. I thought he was fishy and upon looking at his profile I saw a VAC ban. After a little bit more digging I saw that he's been banned from the majority of L4D servers and shunned in the L4D community as well as the MW2 community.

i think he's on the same team as this phantom» guy because i always see them together in the same MGE server with the same tag

blows my mind why you would still play with a blatant cheater who nospread revolvers people as spy from across the map and just pretends to be that good

The gotfrag layout he's using doesn't even mark threads that are already read. It doesn't show which thread the last post of a section was made in, just who posted. And it doesn't show the OP's frags without going into the thread. It's a pretty primitive layout it's a straight downgrade as far as forum fuctionality goes. The rest of the site is what makes it great.

they're all valid suggestions and i'm hoping to get to them before i leave for i46

Judging by the quality of the average post at teamfortress.tv, I'd definitely stay here. Check out the map discussion for examples.

that's kind of unfair

You guys did a great job raising money for i46 but have done nothing since? What was the point of getting two teams to England if you're not gonna create any hype about the event or release any news at all?

I havent seen any videos or posts or anything in the past few weeks. Besides the ESEA LAN i haven't seen you guys cast a match at all. Matches are perfect for reminding people about the event.

The Auction should definitely have been taken care of weeks before i46. Someone else(Chaplain) did half the work for you guys in collecting the items to auction off. That could have potentially introduced the event to a bunch of the trading and pub community. But the auction never happened?

The whole point of i46 is to showcase tf2. But if nobody knows about it who are you gonna showcase it to?

If you guys didnt have any staff members that were free why didn't you ask the community for help? I'm sure there are people available to help out with auctions or making posts or making videos. For some reason everything you guys do is so secretive.

Theres still a week or so left so why not try to spread the news as much as possible. At least post about the event in different forums. If you guys can't at least give us some scheduling info about the casts and stuff so I or someone else can.

I want Extv to succeed so i'm not writing this to attack you guys. I just feel like a wakeup call was needed

What would you like to see? I leave on sunday for England so can't get any video content up in that time, but articles, interviews etc are definitely possible. Vanillatf2 have been doing an amazing job of getting awesome interviews and content up, but I could definitely get some stuff up on the extv site or teamfortresstv (if I can get a hold of enigma to post articles). I am going to have a lot of down time while travelling in the next 4 days, so I am very open to suggestions.

i've been trying to add you forever

your friend's list is full :(

The fact of the matter is the first question a sponsor is going to ask is "what is my return on this investment?" So they pay $6k to get a team to LAN... that team wins $5k. They just lost at least $1k if not more.

And yes, lower ping makes projectile classes perform better. Last week damage output was pretty much the same for both teams soldiers (see logs). This week I have no idea because we had no logs, but I feel its safe to say that it was the NA peeps that had the advantage in the soldier department due to their familiarity with playing higher pings.

i don't know why you even trying to compare logs from the tcm game when the pings were laughably lopsided

as for banny performing "poorly", some people just adjust better to high ping than others. it doesn't mean retshock is going to somehow get 100x better on LAN because he's going from 100 ping to 5, or that banny is only going to get 5x better because he's going from his normal 50-60 to 5. if you guys think he's shit, you're in for a surprise come i46.

enigma, I don't mind you saying whatever, but please don't sensationalize things, the reason why cringe was cut, which has been discussed to death was the fact that he didn't get along with our team members, period.

there's nothing defensible about cutting someone you played with the entire season who helped you earn your spot in the top4 and denying him the chance of going to LAN

enoryt wrote:

You talk crap behind every players back and almost every invite team I've talked to seem to have an issue with you specifically.

please don't pretend this is some heinous crime that only a select few participate in

It's kind of disgusting how you treat me man, I've given you rides to the airport, treat you with nothing but respect and all I hear is how you dislike me or disrespect my game. What's worse is you won't say a word to me all season, and sure enough right before lan, I get that message, "Hey can I get a ride, hey can you take me here, hey what times your flight" in which at first I obliged, and than realized that you were just using me for your convenience, and than to top it all off, you don't even like me. Cut the shit man, don't try to put me in the dog house when you don't own up to half the shit you spew.

what the fuck

please don't put words into my mouth

i literally ask you every time LAN comes around "what time's your flight" because i remember and still appreciate you giving me a ride back from the first LAN. i usually just drive & park at LAX anyways so i thought i might give you a ride to even things up but whatever.

the tryrone shoe incident

- cringe joins eMg season 8
- plays well the entire season
- tryrone offers yz50 a new pair of shoes and half his own LAN winnings to play for his team again
- cringe is cut before LAN
- eMg loses

However it's silly not to say that this team wasn't formed due to the fact that both flow/mix was disappointed in their LAN results and are trying to guarantee a win. Changes are fine from time to time, but when good teams die due to one bad showing, the whole "real team" vibe seems kinda sketchy.

are you really naive enough to believe that LG would have kept the same roster had they lost?
