there is a beverage vending machine at my college that is so hard to get your drink out of that it is entirely common for people to just abandon it. sometimes when I walk by I check it for a stuck drink and spend a few minutes trying to get it out. sometimes I win, sometimes the machine sends me home with my tail between my legs.

We should just let enigma implement that on this site so we don't have an awkward transition phase.

Sounds like a lot of work for him just because people might not want to type a slightly longer url into the bar.

This site is an entirely different framework in an entirely different language. What you are asking is unrealistic.

For you Ty, the only major thing you would get from purchasing XSplit would be the increased sound quality. Honestly though, sound is so important to being able to enjoy a stream that it is worth it.

I have a 3 mbit upload, so your 2.5 isn't too far below that. It should be enough to have acceptable quality with the right settings.

How are you currently capturing your TF2 window? Are you using a screen region, or XSplit's "GameSource" feature? There is another program called Dxtory that can be used to capture your TF2 window and feed it to XSplit, and in my experience it is much more efficient and saves you some FPS in TF2.

Message me on Steam sometime this weekend and I can help tweak XSplit and setup Dxtory for you if you want.

2233rz has the best input lag from what i've looked through. although its not full HD.

I have a 2233rz but I'm pretty sure you can't really get them anywhere anymore. If you do happen to come across one for cheap its a pretty good gaming monitor though.

IMO 1st person cam is the right choice for almost all situations. 3rd person is nice when you expect a flank and want to watch the guy get murked, but you could also just use a 1st person cam on the guy doing the flanking. Free is good when the caster is really detailing something about the map or a flank route or something that can't be easily seen from a player-locked camera.

EDIT: 3rd is best when you want to watch someone's fancy footwork. If a medic is at 90% and being bombed by 2 soldiers and a scout, go 3rd person so you can see his dodging better.
