New viewers aren't going to know or remember any player names ever, not even the casters. Whether I'm shrt or DonGiovanni on esea, a new viewer wont know the difference. Casters should call the player by their current alias. If you cast a mixup game, dont call pyyyour, brad, or that other name he used unless that is what he is using. Hell, just call him red medic. The last thing a new viewer is going to do is try to remember who is who on what team. They just want to understand what is happening.

We want viewers to become players. Once they understand what is happening and they get interested in playing, then they will learn who is who if they want to. I recognize most names on most rosters, and I can tell you who plays what on those teams but only because I pay attention to those things. Some players don't even know who plays on the team they are facing. Don't expect some random Twitch TV viewer to remember, know, or even care who is who.

Big name players made names for themselves because of their long experience playing at the top level. If you are spectator, after watchin enough frag movies and casts, you might pick up a few names.

Sure, be respectable and use your normal name on the off chance of some randy spectator says in chat "OH DUDE IS THAT TLR!?". Enforcing players to 1 alias is a fuckin joke. Though have the common courtesy to use your normal alias if being casted. Seriously everyone on nNn being powah is actually confusing to the average spectator. The chat of that match was full blown retard with people asking why everyone had the same name.
